LOL! Grilled Altoid tins? Well, that must be a lot safer than holding them to a candle and risking burnt fingertips. Great finds! Are they MOP buttons? I'm having so much trouble finding the pretty carved ones. I've seen jars in the antique barn lately, but all mixed plastics and ugly ones. :-( The hunt continues......! Happy Sunday, Marie! Diane
It looks like you had some fun at the flea market! Great finds, dear Marie! I was happy to find some laces as well today :-). Have a lovely evening and a save trip tomorrow! Big hugs, Julia
Dear Marie, uhhh you did wonderfull finds, the buttons are great, amd so is the beautifull lace, and you photographed it all so pretty on the old book pages. I`m burning my metal pieces too, in my oven (not the one for meals)but for heating- works very well. I can see you had a wonderfull day, -- So happy evening to you ,too- sweet friend. Big hug-Dorthe
Hi! Found your beautiful site through Lovey's "Beautiful Eye Candy"! So glad I did!! I am in love with all the buttons, lace and oh my whiskers - BBQ tins?!?! Oh wow, I can't wait to have "her" try that one!!!! They are way too wonderful looking!!! Maybe "she" will throw a fish on there for me too!
genial Marie!!! auf dem letzten Flohmarkt hier bei uns war ein Stand der hatte nur so alte Karten mit Knöpfen ... ich hätte ein Vermögen ausgeben können.
Marie!!!! YUMMY good finds sweetie!!!! And bbq'd tins? Ohmygoodness...I HAVE to try this ~ I love them so much. I hope you are doing wonderful dear friend! hugs and love, Dawn
The button cards are great, and all that yummy lace. Crafters are the only people I know that would get excited over grilled altoid tins! Maybe we should make a "Cook" book. Rusted Tins could be one of the sections. Love to you, Debbie

Yummy indeed! 'Grilled' Altoid tins - are these literally put under a grill to get that effect or put in a bbq type fire? Happy Sunday to you too, xxx
Happy Sunday, you lucky girl! What beautiful finds! I am curious about the grilled altoid tins as well, you cannot leave us hanging on that.

Jo was right - I did barbcue the tins and will spray them with vinegar to rust them.
