Welcome Spring

Hello my dear friends,

a short warm weather spill inspired me to go into my neglected studio and with the birds singing outside I created this mail art. Otherwise my focus was to convert the new garden, into a flower paradise. It is not finished yet but I made a major step in that direction.

Spring finally arrived - isn't the Magnolia tree gorgeous?

A Tag And A Card

Hello my dear friends,

today I would like to share my new creations with you - a tag and a card. The tag was done in the glue book style and I really had fun creating it. Yes, I did use some color:)

Song of Spring

 Hello my dear friends,
birds singing outside my window inspired me to start a collage using one of the bird images from my book and I'm really pleased with the results. Although it still needs a little bit of work  I want to give you a sneak peek :)

Yesterday I received a surprise in the mail  which I would like to share with you. Dear Katherine @ Chatelet
spoiled me with this beautiful nest card.

I just love the tiny nest she created - can you see the little feather ? I assume customs liked it as well since they kept it for quite some time.

This gorgeous Easter egg is all covered in lace and decorated with pearls.

This And That

Hello my dear friends,
beside cleaning up my messy studio ( a work in progress ) I finished  the collage above for a dear friend.
Sorting out boxes and drawers you will be surprised what you find. In one of my boxes I found the bird image and created the little tag below.



The purse below a hidden treasure, forgotten and found again:)
 I just had to play around with it.


The soldered charm created a while ago and just waiting to be used in a project.



Hidden up the attic, at least a peek of it, you can see below.



Can you guess what it is??
Now it's time to go back into the studio and clean up my mess.

Some White Creations

Hello my dear friends,
can you tell how much I love this image? I created a fabric gift bag and a tag with her.

On the tag below I used another beautiful image from Ana.The tag is already on the way to a dear friend.

 Last week I was lucky enough to find this old sewing table at the local flea market and for 10$ it just had to go home with me.

 
This is the before pic. and after a bit of sanding and painting,

it looks like this. I'm really happy with it.

Since Valentine is just around the corner I started to work on some small  hearts.

Ooops - my fabric collage turned into a tag

 
I absolutely wanted to use that PW  image and do a small fabric collage. Well, let me tell you, the girl just did not cooperate.I tried her on so many fabrics but nothing worked. So she ended up on the tag and I think she feels at home there. Does that sometimes happen to you too?

My altered bottle for the Smitten class

Here is my altered bottle for the Smitten class and again it is totally different than the class samples.

I just have to do it my way. Oh, I love Nancy's bottles but I just can't copy her artwork.

I did use Nancy's idea with the spoon and just had to do put a nest inside.
