My altered bottle for the Smitten class

Here is my altered bottle for the Smitten class and again it is totally different than the class samples.
I just have to do it my way. Oh, I love Nancy's bottles but I just can't copy her artwork.
You can click on the photo to see a larger view. To see the beautiful projects just click on the "Smitten" link on the sidebar.

I did use Nancy's idea with the spoon and just had to do put a nest inside.
The image is from Bumble Button. Thank you Louise.

Above is just a a layout for a new collage or assemblage, not sure yet.
More snow is on the way so I'm off to do some shopping. Thanks for stopping by and for all your lovely comments. Have a wonderful rest of the week and stay warm and safe.

Hugs and love,

Once again I am amazed, at the lovely things you create! The spoon idea is wonderful and I can see why you used it. I love old bottles and have too many to admit to. I will have to give this a try. You have inspired me!

Oh gosh, I just love your bottle and your spoon.

I'm having trouble finding a bottle in the UK so I think I will have to give this project a miss.

Both pieces are really beautiful! I believe that everybody should do their own thing...but I bet Nancy would also agree.
It is best to be inspired by and not to do the same, that is how we progress!!!

Love your work...it is always breathtaking.

These 2 pieces are SO PRECIOUS! It's the little touches that make your work so gorgeous. I'm sure Nancy is thrilled you haven't copied her work, that isn't what it's all about is it?!

Marie
this is brilliant! what a gorgeous bottle you have created! I love how you did the spoon...and the image is so vintage and time worn...beautiful work! :) I hope the snow doesn't hit your area to bad...been a hard week with that around here and colder temps coming in!

LOVE your bottle!!!! I did a post a few days back about a bottle class I took & it was so much fun. When I came to visit from Jill's Blog (isn't she amazing?) I see you are also friend with my friend Riki. She is coming out to Texas to go to Round Top with me. CAN'T wait to see her again. I have added you to my sidebar because I See we have a lot of things in common & I want to see all your magic. Charlene

Hi Marie. The addition of the next is "so you". Is the image an image transfer method? You have taken the gem of Nancy's idea but created something that is undeniably Lost Bird Studio art.
I have not made a start as yet, possibly over the weekend.
Have a great weekend.
Wishes. Lynne

Hello Marie,
I think your bottle is beautiful! I love the spoon with the nest. I wished I could have joined the class too, but didn't have time.
I'm sure your collage or assemblage will be just as wonderful as your bottle.
