fleamarket treasures part two

                                                                                      Hello everyone,
hope you all had a wonderful weekend. As you can see I had fun at the fleamarket and was a lucky girl.I've been looking for Mother of pearl buttons for a while - but that's not all, wait till you see this! Still in  working condition - and I found this wonderful book as well. So in my next post I'll share some of the birds
with you. Thanks for stopping by and for taking the time to leave a comment.
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Marie

I have that same typewriter in my studio and love it. I especially love to see vintage items that survived the years and still work !

Oooh what a great find. A girl can never have too many vintage buttons! My mom's darling neighbor of 91-years-old just gave me a giant tin box of old mother of pearl and some others. She couldn't believe how excited I was over "old buttons!"

Cheers,
Holly

Hi Marie, You must have been over the moon with all the treasures you found at the flea market this time. The typewriter looks exactly like the one that hubby had found for me a couple of weeks ago :-). Mother of pearl buttons are just beautiful and I can never pass them up. Great finds!
Hugs to you,
Julia

Marie - love the gorgeous buttons and that typewriter. I have one that my Dad owned as a child...one of my prized possessions. Hubby took me out to our Antique outlet mall yesterday (to stay cool in the air conditioning)...I was on a mission for things to use in my art...but saw so many lovelies!

have a great day! :)

What a wonderful typewriter - there's just something special about typing on a vintage one! Just think of all the little phrases you can add to your gluebook collages!
