From Plain to Chic

 Hello my dear friends,
the metal waste basket went from plain to chic in seconds. All I did was printing one of my favourite graphic from the Graphics Fairy on to Water slide decal paper  and transferred it on to the  waste basket. Add a ribbon and you are done. I found the water slide decal paper (clear) on ebay.

Using elements of the graphic below,I gave the flower pot a French look. The graphic came also  from The Graphics Fairy . Thank you so much,Karen.

I just love quick and easy projects, don't you? Linking up with Karen's Brag Monday @ The Graphics Fairy and with Becky's Blissful Whites Wednesday @ Timewashed where I was featured.
Thank you so much,Becky:) Hope to see you there.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend and as always thank you so much for stopping by and for all your lovely comments. Now I'm off to catch up with all of you which will take me a while, lol.

Hugs and love,

Water Slide Decal paper is now on my shopping list! This is great, the image is clear and easy to see, not so with other transfer methods.
Thanks for sharing!

Hello dear Marie, It doesn't need heavy embellishments to turn something from plain into pretty. Both your projects are the best examples. They look très chic now.
Congratulations on being featured on Timewashed!

Oh, aren't they gorgeous?! The scroll work around the graphic on the flower pot is the most perfect frame--and it was already there, just waiting for your magic touch!

Ahem. While I'm here, I'd like to brag about (er, I mean mention that) my beautiful giveaway package from Marie arrived this week, and believe me, the pics didn't do it justice! Included were two lovely tags, vintage French papers, loads of sweet trinkets in an adorable altered matchbox, a beautifully altered muslin bag, and, of course, the pièce de résistance (please note the accent marks - hehe!): The Drop-Dead Gorgeous Soldered Eiffel Tower Pendant!!! (Be still my heart!) And Marie wrapped everything all up in a large piece of gorgeous white-on-white brocade fabric!! (I had told her that I want to try my hand at fabric collage work... how sweet was she to include the piece for me?!)

Sorry to have gone on and on, but I just can't get over the fact that I won something from the ever-so-talented (and lovely) Marie!!! Thank you again, dear one.♥

xoxo

The ribbon was such a simple adornment but how, along with the graphic it has completely transformed the item.
Perfection!
Wishes to you Marie.
