Hello my dear friends,
hope you all had a wonderful Easter and the Easter bunny was good to you:)We had a very quiet Easter and I had a chance to work on an altered book cover.I'm not sure if I like it - I think it still needs a little something.Any Ideas? My muse is still in vacation mood but I finished the tag below.
Wishing you all a wonderful week and as always thank you so much for stopping by and for taking the time to leave a comment.
Hugs and love,

I don't think it needs a thing. I like it just the way it is and the tag too .

Hello, what gorgeous things you made! I love them both. I was thinking a cluster of those pretty cream buttons would look cute in the bottom corner of the tag over the ends of the trim. But really they are gorgeous either way. HugZ, jean
Your book cover looks fabulous just the way it is Marie! And your tag is beautiful....such a darling image you used. Have a great week.

I agree, the bookcover is beautifull as it is,but that was not your question..:O)
Maybe a little silk bow or ribbon
on the bottom would be nice?
I love the tag too!!

The tag is faboulous and the cover book is stunning too. An idea? Humm, I don't know, but, a little or two pink butterfly, perhaps? Pink or white, very little, one more little than the other, on the right corner above. Well, I don't know, haha, it's only my oppinion, but I like it very much how it is now.
Thanks for sharing so lovely pieces, dear xx
Vintage Collages
.
You astound me when you say your Muse is in vacation mood, it is not possible!
Both are gorgeous. I like the book cover as it is as there is space for the beauty of the woman to breathe unless you had the perfect piece of vintage jewels for the top left but I say leave alone.

Marie,dear- I think like Lynne, that that muse, is fully allive- it is so gorgeous, love the flower you gave her , and all the sweet laces- and the metal pieces make it special.
The tag is so lovely, with the small blue accents- Love them both.
Hugs and love to you dear friend.

Both of your creations are stunning Marie, they look exquisite as they are, you used some of the finest laces for your book cover and that tiny rose makes a fine piece of ´jewelry´ for the lady! Hugs, Ira

Hi Sweet Marie
How can your muse be on vacation when you produce such magnificent creations
like both of these.
They are both so beautiful - I say just keep creating - because we all love your art.
I especially love the altered book cover, the image and the metal piece in the corner.
Enjoy your weekend.
Love and hugs,
Suzy
PS thank you so very much for your kind comment on my journal!
Marie,
I love it & think your muse is right there with you! I've been away for too long but just caught up on all I've missed. I always say I get so much inspiration from you. Your ideas are always fresh & original. I love the soldered matchbox & can't wait to try that for myself. Always fun to see you.
Lisa

Have a lovely week!
