Shabby Chic Christmas Stocking

DSC01706
Hello my dear friends,
today I would like to share the stocking I made for the  Fine and Faniful  II  class by Nancy from Sugar Lump Studios.
I used drop cloth as the base and rubberstamped the French script on to it. I just love how it turned out.
Below you can see a close up.

I think the soldered charm finishes it off nicely and I’m sure it wasn’t my last stocking.

A big thank you from my heart for all the kind comments and well wishes regarding my dental work. I had the worst part done today and it wasn’t fun but I’m just so glad it is behind me.
Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Linking up for White Wednesday at Faded Charm Cottage where you can see more beautiful whites

Hugs and love,

Marie this is absolutely gorgeous!
Love all the very beautiful laces and your added extras like the soldered charm and that rose with the pearls on top. Is this made of layers of cheesecloth?
Hope you are feeling a little better and not so sore and bruised from you dental work now! It's not much fun at all. You need lots of pampering now!
Thinking of you with love and hugs,
Suzy

That stocking is so pretty it brings tears to my eyes! I am so proud of you! Back in February you said you could not sew and look at what you have created here! The Noel charm adds such a nice unexpected touch to it!

Hi Marie
At a loss for words.
I was awaiting something exceptional knowing you were signed up for Nancy's class but this is remarkable. Adore the soldered charm, the most beautiful of finishing touches.
Thank goodness the main part of your dental work is behind you. Take good care of yourself.

Another exquisite creation by you, Marie. I don't know what drop cloth is ( I wonder what the UK equivalent could be ), but boy, does it look fabulous stamped. And all those gorgeous embellishments make it truly beautiful. A very elegant piece.

Hi Marie,

Obviously this is an old post, but I am searching high and low for a shabby chic Christmas stocking and the one you have made is absolutely perfect. I am just wondering if there is any possibility you still have this or one just like it which I could purchase from you to make someone's Christmas.

Appreciate your help,

Chris
