Shabby Chic Shopping Bag

Hello my dear friends,
I made this shabby chic  shopping bag for my dear friend Julia  @ Vintage With Laces . Julia just loves to go to flea markets and the bag
made a wonderful birthday gift for her.

The graphic is one of my favorites one from Karen The Graphics Fairy – Thank you so much, dear Karen!
Here is a close up.
As you can imagine the bag was not empty:)
Some lace,a soldered charm, a big vintage spool of creamy cotton thread and a dawning mushroom I found at the flea market.
I was so excited when I found the dawning mushroom because I knew she was looking for one.
This little tag.
fuer Julia
A fabric collage and some trinkets I forgot to take photos off.

Yesterday I went to the flea market and this is what I found.
Oh, lucky day!

flea market

Almost time to pick another name out of the bowl:)
So stay tuned. Have a lovely Sunday dear friends and thank you so much for stopping by and for all your lovely comments.

Hugs and love,

Hi Marie,
Just came over to say, I will not clean the brass stencils too much, as you said. I would like to get the thick paint off some, but only if it does not make them look 'new'. I'm more into rustic like you. =)

Marie, all items you made are so very lovely! You do an amazing job of creating things with lace and fabric.

I'm glad I read some of the comments because I'm not alone in wondering what a "dawning mushroom" could be! Did it have it's dawn and disappear? I didn't see it in the photo (lol).

Thanks for sharing your lovely creations!.......Angie

I visited your beautiful garden blog. Ooooh I love your hydrangea blooms! I never remember how to turn them from pink to blue, so it's a good thing I love both colors ;).
