Ooops - my fabric collage turned into a tag

 
I absolutely wanted to use that PW  image and do a small fabric collage. Well, let me tell you, the girl just did not cooperate.I tried her on so many fabrics but nothing worked. So she ended up on the tag and I think she feels at home there. Does that sometimes happen to you too?

My altered bottle for the Smitten class

Here is my altered bottle for the Smitten class and again it is totally different than the class samples.

I just have to do it my way. Oh, I love Nancy's bottles but I just can't copy her artwork.

I did use Nancy's idea with the spoon and just had to do put a nest inside.

Fabric Heart Hanger

Hello my dear blogging friends,

as you can see I'm still having fun with the hearts, lol. The fabric heart hanger above, is just one of the projects  from the Smitten class by Sugar Lump Studio. I didn't had the tag so I made the heart instead. Hope Nancy doesn't mind.
My heart is a lot smaller 4,5 X 3,5 inches. The image is from PW and is one of my fav. ones.
Below you can see a little pouch I made just for fun. The velvet heart is a deep burgundy color.

Flea Market finds and a new heart

 Look what I found today at the local Flea Market -  for 50 cents I just had to take it along.

I love old letters and old glasses so these came home with me too.

old bottle and a small jar of vintage buttons, most of them mop! Lucky day.

 

Another heart in the making, it just needs to be sewn together and stuffed with lavender.

Fabric hearts

Here is another heart I made last weekend. The image is pw. The heart has a little pocket on the back to hold a little sentiment or trinket. Below are hearts cut out of woll and waiting to be embellished.

Today we are in the middle of a snowstorm so it is a perfect day to work on some projects.

Petite Lavender Fabric Heart

Here is my very first fabric heart, fiilled with lavender. It is only 4,5 inches tall and I'm happy how it turned out.I used some of the lace Lynn had gifted me with. At the moment Debbie over at Mosaic Magpie has a
Heart to Heart Swap going on you might want to join. That is where I got the inspiration for my heart - thank you Debbie. I always wanted to sew a heart, now I did. It's not perfect but I love it.
