This and that

Look what I found at the fleamarket - nicely worn and aged.I have been looking for these for some time now.
I think they will look great at the front door with some greenery - don't you think?
I'm also working on two swaps with dear friends which I can't show you but here is a little teaser for one of  the swap -theme of course is Paris.

There is still time to enter my Giveaway so don't be shy. Good luck to all of you!
Wishing you all a wonderful week my friends and as always thank you so much for stopping by and for your
lovely comments.
Hugs and love,

They would be just lovely displayed perhaps in the middle of a greenery wreath. Have a great week Marie!

Marie, a super find. My Mum loved to skate when she was a youth and we still have her skates. I bought her a minature pair (ornament) some years ago and used them as a prop in one of my earliest postings on my Blog. They will look amazing at your doorway. Maybe you will take a photograph!

I found some similar skates this summer at a yard sale. I thought they would be great hanging on a wreath too. The ones I found where new so I left them outside all summer. I am glad you reminded me of the them I need to go behind the garage and retrieve them!

I found a pair of these several years ago. I added them to an old sled and some greenery and sits in front of my home every Christmas.
Have fun creating with your new treasure and your swap looks yummy to!

Oooohhh, Marie! The skates are so lovely and remind me of a time long ago when I used to skate on the pond my parent's owned. Such a fun, fun time! My girlfriends would come over to skate and we would make a fire and mom would bring hot chocolate and marshmallows to us. The day would fly by! Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful art. Sorry it's been so long since I've been able to take a peek at your blog...you have been so busy!!
Much love,
Kim
