Shabby Chic Christmas Stocking

Hello my dear friends,
today I would like to share the stocking I made for the  Fine and Faniful  II  class by Nancy from Sugar Lump Studios.
I used drop cloth as the base and rubberstamped the French script on to it. I just love how it turned out.
Below you can see a close up.
 
I think the soldered charm finishes it off nicely and I’m sure it wasn’t my last stocking.

A big thank you from my heart for all the kind comments and well wishes regarding my dental work. I had the worst part done today and it wasn’t fun but I’m just so glad it is behind me.

Advent

 Hello my dear friends,
I can't believe that the countdown for Christmas already started as today is the fist of Advent here in Germany and of course I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.

Since the vase for the Christmas bouquet didn't match I sewed a fabric bag for it.The graphic came from the Graphics Fairy. Thank you so much Karen.

The Christmas stocking I finished today  and I'm pleased how it turned out.
More to come as I signed up for Nancy's class.
Don't be surprised  if I'm very quiet next week as I'm having major dental work done and I won't be a happy camper.

Hello my dear friends.

I found this great shutter  a while back at a  local shop and finally got a chance to paint it white. I must say I’m really pleased with  how it turned out.

At the moment I’m working on a white Christmas swap with a very dear friend and here are some of the packages. Sorry but I can’t show you more. Patti, I hope you’re not looking.

Upcoming Blogeversary

Hello my dear friends,
I thought I was going to be late for my own Blogeversary as I was short of  ideas and time what to create as a giveaway.Than I visited dear Rhonda @ A Little Bit French  and saw this.

Ooh la la, this gorgeous box had to be it and I went shopping at her etsy shop. If you love French romance and shabby chic you just have to  visit her. She also sells these beautiful faux tintypes but I'm afraid I won't be able to part with these:) Thank you,dear Rhonda.
