Hello my dear friends,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas - I sure did as I got so spoiled by my dear blogging friends.
Spoiled was really the word for me in 2011 not only did I receive so many wonderful gifts but was also very lucky in winning beautiful giveaways and making new friends. Thank you so much - I feel so very blessed.

White Wednesday

 

Hello my dear friends,

just finished up two more projects which I would like to share with you. The above tag is made out of fabric with bits of paper and I finally finished the Christmas cone which was started two years ago. Do you also have unfinished projects just waiting to get done?

Lately I was lucky with my flea market finds and I just have to show you the French scale I found.

Sorry but I couldn’t take a decent photo.

Christmas projects

 

Hello my dear friends,

I  finally got  started on  a few Christmas projects which I would like to share with you. Nothing too complicated as I started way too late.

A  Christmas card and ornaments.

May I have your attention

Hello my dear friends,
here is a little update on the - May I have your attention - giveaway  which will  end soon .

Shabby Chic Christmas Stocking

Hello my dear friends,
today I would like to share the stocking I made for the  Fine and Faniful  II  class by Nancy from Sugar Lump Studios.
I used drop cloth as the base and rubberstamped the French script on to it. I just love how it turned out.
Below you can see a close up.
 
I think the soldered charm finishes it off nicely and I’m sure it wasn’t my last stocking.

A big thank you from my heart for all the kind comments and well wishes regarding my dental work. I had the worst part done today and it wasn’t fun but I’m just so glad it is behind me.

Advent

 Hello my dear friends,
I can't believe that the countdown for Christmas already started as today is the fist of Advent here in Germany and of course I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.

Since the vase for the Christmas bouquet didn't match I sewed a fabric bag for it.The graphic came from the Graphics Fairy. Thank you so much Karen.

The Christmas stocking I finished today  and I'm pleased how it turned out.
More to come as I signed up for Nancy's class.
Don't be surprised  if I'm very quiet next week as I'm having major dental work done and I won't be a happy camper.

Hello my dear friends.

I found this great shutter  a while back at a  local shop and finally got a chance to paint it white. I must say I’m really pleased with  how it turned out.

At the moment I’m working on a white Christmas swap with a very dear friend and here are some of the packages. Sorry but I can’t show you more. Patti, I hope you’re not looking.
