Vintage Finds

Hello my dear friends,
for today's Simply Neutrals Tuesday Party I would like to show you some  of my vintage finds I collected over the years. The old jam jar came with the original lid and I love to use it as a vase.

I was lucky enough to find several of the old shoe forms including a baby one.

I absolutely love the vintage hat box and - believe it or not -  for 50 cent  it was a real steal.

Also you would not be able to identify it, but the small collage is a gift bag created for a special friend. Unfortunately I can't show you what is inside as she hasn't received it yet.

Friendship

Hello my dear friends,
the card I created for this weeks Simply Neutrals Tuesday is about friendship. Thinking about friendship, the following quote came to mind "a friend is someone who reaches  for your hand and touches your heart" . Isn't that true?

You might recognize  the book spread from an older post with one of my favorite PW images as it fits the neutral theme.

NEW AND OLD

Hello my dear friends,

for this weeks "Simple Neutrals Tuesday Party"  I selected the fabric book ( above ) I'm currently working on.

It is almost done and has two pockets inside to hold little treasures.

Since my altered book page fits the theme, I wanted to post it again and not link up to it.

I hope it is ok.

Just for the fun of it I created this photo collage with my favorite neutrals.

We Welcome 2018

Hello my dear friends,
2017 was not a good year for my hubby and me, so we welcome 2018 very much.
I hope you all had a good start into the new year and it will bring all you wished for.
I also would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your support and all the lovely comments you left. Due to all the events happened in 2017 it was quiet challenging to me to start creating again.

You all know how much I love soldering, so that is how I got started and  had much fun.

The heart created is more 3D like.

Although I still have a number of  scheduled doctors' appointments,  I promise to do my best to blog more often as last year. Have a lovely weekend and as always thank you so much for stopping by.

Forever In Our Hearts

Hello my dear friends,
so much has happened since my last post that I don't know where to begin. I created the hearts a while ago and they have been waiting in my inbox to get posted since July.
First of all my eye problems are still ongoing since - although I had several doctors' visits  - the root of the problem could not be determined yet.
On top of that my mother in law passed away unexpectedly. This had a major impact of our activities over the last 2 1/2 weeks and left us in a deep hole. She will be in our hearts forever.

In order to get back to normal we decided to take a little vacation. I hope you are all well.
