Trick Or Treat

Hello my dear friends,
sorry I haven't  been around much, but I had my Aunt visiting us from NC and I will play  catch up with you tonight. With Halloween coming closer I created the tag above and the soldered charm below to get me into the Halloween spirit:)

A few days ago I received a belated Birthday gift from dear Lynn @ Trash To Treasure Art

Isn't the box wonderful? Wait till you see what was inside.

A gorgeous resin necklace which I already wore going out for dinner with my Aunt and tons of lace, velvet flowers and leaves. Thank you so much dear Lynn. I just love everything you spoiled me with and felt so very special opening up your gift. If you haven't visited this talented gal please go on over and have a look.

Wishing you all a wonderful start of the week dear friends and thank you so much for stopping by and for taking the time to leave a comment.

Hugs and love,

Fabric Pumpkin

Hello my dear friends,
today my dear friend Patti showed me how to make a fabric pumpkin and here is my first pumpkin.

Isn't it pretty? Thank you so much Patti.

I also altered two matchboxes to hold small trinkets - they always come in handy.

Wishing you a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by. Hope to catch up with you tonight.

Hugs and love,

Marie

Altered Dominos

 Hello my dear friends,
today I would like to share two Domino charms with you. For the charm above I used resin and soldered it. I really like how it turned out. The domino below is a bit bigger and I think I will use it on a book cover.

I'm sure I will make more:) Wishing you all a wonderful upcoming weekend and as always thank you so much for stopping by and for taking the time to leave a comment.

The tiny scissors were aged with a patina solution.

Whishing you all a wonderful start of the week and as always thank you so much for stopping by and for taking the time to leave a comment. Hope to catch up with you tonight.

Something Different

 Hello my dear friends,
hard to believe it is August already and I hope you are enjoying these last days of summer. Here it cooled down a bit and I had some playtime in the studio. I finally finished the paperweight above. Before it was just too hot to solder. Using what was already on my desk I created the tag below.
The image was a freebie from Digital Collage sheets. Thank you. I just love the image even so she looks a bit sad but that is how I look when I see my studio, lol. It really is in a need of a major clean up. Any tips are welcome;)

Wishing you a wonderful upcoming weekend and as always thank you so much for stopping by and for taking the time to leave a comment.

Hugs and love,
